Shelyce Fitzgerald assists our attorneys with our estate planning cases. She is passionate about making the planning process as accessible as possible, ensuring legal complexities are explained clearly for families to make certain they are confident in planning for the future.
Shelyce is a graduate from State University of New York at Fredonia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology and Voice, in addition to a minor in Art History. In college, Shelyce sat on the Board of Student Conduct and helped to adjudicate cases for students charged with violations of misconduct. Shelyce started working as a paralegal in 2020 and has worked in various fields of law such as personal injury, estate administration, business law, and civil litigation. Shelyce is originally from the Bronx, New York and she moved to North Carolina in 2022. She is committed to community service and often volunteers for disaster relief projects, as well as programs such as “Keep Charlotte Beautiful.” Shelyce joined the Jesson & Rains team in the spring of 2026. 704.444.0594 [email protected] |
