Sydney Stephan is our Director of Business Development and Marketing leads the firm's efforts to grow and strengthen relationships within the communities we serve. From building partnerships with financial advisors, CPAs, and local business leaders to overseeing our communications and outreach efforts, our Director works behind the scenes to make sure every touchpoint with our firm reflects the care and professionalism our clients deserve.
 
Sydney is a graduate from Trine University located in Indiana, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Legal Studies in 2022 with minors in Criminal Justice, Communications, Psychology , and Political Science and earning her Master of Science in 2024, graduating Cum Laude and a recipient of the National Honors Society of Leadership and Success. In college Sydney was an Executive Board Member for various clubs, appointed by the Dean of Students to represent her University in the Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative in 2019 and placing runner up at the UCA College National Championship in 2021. Sydney started working as an Estate Planning Paralegal at the age of 16 and has since worked in other fields of law such as: criminal, education, government, and personal injury.
 
Sydney is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana and relocated to North Carolina post-graduation. Sydney joined the Jesson & Rains team in the fall of 2024.
