Kelly and Edward are committed to providing high-quality, individualized services to their clients in an efficient and cost-effective manner. They bring critical experience to the table. Edward and Kelly practice all aspects of business, such as formation, contract drafting and review, employment issues, landlord-tenant disputes, insurance coverage, and litigation. Edward additionally focuses on construction law, and Kelly focuses on estate planning and probate administration. Kelly and Edward navigate the complicated to create clarity & peace of mind.
Edward Jesson and Kelly Rains (now Jesson) met in Miami, Florida, where they attended law school. After working as civil litigators for many years at big law firms in South Florida, they decided to move back to Kelly’s home state, North Carolina, to hang their shingle. Edward is also a South Carolina Gamecock.
Wanda Sue Lambert recently retired from William Peace University, Raleigh, NC after a 30-year career in finance. Sue grew up on a small farm in Johnston County in eastern North Carolina. She graduated from Princeton High School where she played varsity basketball and enjoyed playing piano.
Sue obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Wayne Community College, where she belonged to the honor society Phi Theta Kappa. She graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Meredith College, in Raleigh, NC.
In her spare time Sue enjoys reading, visiting antique stores and coastal adventures.

Cyrena Ivie is originally from Massachusetts. She graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Humanities. After graduation, she was commissioned as an Air Force Public Affairs Officer and was stationed at various locations, including Guam, Hawaii and Louisiana.
After her time in the service, Cyrena relocated to Charlotte and taught preschool while her children were young. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
In her spare time, Cyrena enjoys camping and hiking with her husband and three kids, playing soccer, gardening, and reading.
